Afonso Mendonça, a lawyer holding professional licence no. 69748L, graduated in Law from the Autónoma University of Lisbon. He completed his traineeship for the Portuguese Bar Association, gaining extensive experience and practical skills at the prestigious law firm ‘Roldão Advogados SP RL’. In 2024, he was invited to join the staff of ‘Roldão Advogados SP RL’, an experienced team, versatile and capable of responding to the challenges currently prevailing with the knowledge and learning built up over the years. Integration into multidisciplinary and dynamic team, with a management model divided by areas of expertise, ensures he is always able to present the most appropriate, proportional and economic solutions to his clients. In addition to joining a benchmark reference legal firm in the national market, he has invested significantly in his training, for example, in 2022, completing two post-graduate programs, one in Arbitration Law and the other in Civil Liability Law, both run by the Private Law Research Centre. He is currently taking a Master's Degree in ‘Law and Tech’ at Lisbon’s Nova University, reflecting his continuous commitment to updating and deepening his legal knowledge. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in various training programs run both by the Portuguese Bar Association and by other external entities. These include highlights such as the “Procedural Employment Law” Conference, held by the Lisbon Regional Centre of the Bar Association; the a “Online Notary Acts” Conference, held by Debates & Discursos; training in “Administrative Procedural Practices”, held by the Lisbon Regional Centre of the Bar Association; and the "Property Rentals" Conference, staged by the Sintra Delegation of the Bar Association.
